Wormley Creek Paddle in Yorktown

When:  Saturday, October 29th, 2022, 9:30 AM start.

Where:  Wormley Creek Boat Landing, 1110 Old Wormley Creek Rd, Yorktown, VA 23692

What:  An easy 4 mile (there and back) flat water paddle on Wormley Creek in Yorktown.  We will travel from the boat landing (not the marina!!) to the Yorktown Battlefield and back.  The entire trip should take around 2 hours.  There will be plenty of different birds to see, including Bald Eagles, Kingfishers, Great herons, and Egrets.

The Wormley Creek Boat Landing has a Kayak Launch, as well as a small boat ramp.  Canoes and SUPs are welcome.  Because of limited parking, we need to limit this to no more than 10 boats/boards.
